could never ask for anything less

dear sarah, yesterday I tried to swallow the sun. it burned me up on the inside until even my skin was hot to the touch, and I thought of you. also if you remember reading those last three lines from somewhere, i used them in previous poems (traces and traces ii). i just really like them and they fit the theme well and i'm still casting around in my head for a poem that can do those lines justice
